Hey guys, just started using podtropolis and i've set up utorrent according to the forum directions. Every torrent link i've tried starting is giving me the tracker unavailable error. Can someone confirm that Wolverine.mp4 is up and running, so i will know if the error is on my end (just in case i'm trying to use a blocked port) or if the torrent is just dead. I'm posting at 6:39 EST on 10/2/2009.

Well the torrent is dead at my end also, not sure on this but if the tracker here is set up like over at our sister site torrentbox then US residents are blocked due to legal reasons and if the same over here this would be one of the reasons, also the open tracker that is in this torrent file is that of piratebay and that tracker is no longer online.
The torrent file only has these two trackers which is this site's tracker and the piratebay one, now on our own tracker it could be blocked as mention to US residents and if you are not in the US then i am not sure at this time what is wrong with our tracker.

No problem, and you can still make torrents and just add some open trackers to your torrent file as you make it and then it should work for you, as i have to do it this way also on our sister site torrentbox for it to work.
Below is a few open trackers you can add to your torrent file at the time of making it.
http://torrent-download.to:5869/announce
http://denis.stalker.h3q.com:6969/announce.php
http://tracker.publicbt.com:80/announce
http://denis.stalker.h3q.com:6969/announce
Remember when adding these open trackers to your torrent file to leave a space line between each tracker as shown above, just copy and paste these open trackers to your torrent file as clicking on them will do nothing, hope this help you out.
