I downloaded, and it saved it fast - but the file is .torrent, and my computer is not able to bring it up.

I have never done any of this before, and don't know the terminology yet (seeding, etc.)

I looked up a few terms in Wikipedia, but am still in the dark, so far.

I looked under your "in depth tutorials" - and somehow I am missing them.  I only see a couple of posted questions.
